- Lot Description
- A fine speckling of iridescent rose-russet and reddish-olive toning overlays the surfaces of this attractive piece. Lustrous throughout, both sides exhibit the bold to sharp strike that would be expected for a Denver Mint silver dollar of this design. While the 1922-D is the most available Denver Mint issue of this type in terms of total number of Mint State coins known, most survivors are heavily abraded and grade MS-60 to MS-64. A find for the advanced collector that is sure to sell for a strong premium.
