- 1835 Matron Head Cent. N-5. Rarity-2. Small 8 and Stars. VF-30 (PCGS).
Glossy deep reddish-tan and olive with faint woodgraining. A dramatic double profile extends the full length of the face from the tip of the coronet to the base of the chin. Pronounced doubling is also noted on stars 6 through 12. Very pleasing for the grade.
