Lot Description

Billowy satin luster flows over smooth, expertly preserved surfaces. Sharply struck, both sides are further enhanced by blushes of rose and russet iridescence that are more widely distributed on the reverse. Much scarcer than its identically dated Philadelphia Mint counterpart of the Type I Standing Liberty design.
