Uncommonly vivid surfaces in an early half dime show undertones of champagne-pink and powder blue to warmer golden-gray patina. This is a well struck piece despite typically soft definition to the eagle's breast and wings on the reverse, and the absence of all but light wear allows ready appreciation of the entire design. A desirable certified Choice AU example of the historic Flowing Hair half dime series of 1794 to 1795.
