1802/1 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. B-2, BB-233. Rarity-4. Wide Date. EF-45 (PCGS). Medium silver-gray on both sides with hints of blue when examined. There are a few dark toning specks, one below the fourth obverse star, another below the R of LIBERTY mentioned for identification. The wear is even and the surfaces consistent for the grade. This is a scarce die pairing and a bold overdate that collectors have always sought out. Probably in the top eight of the variety and hard to find at this technical grade level. PCGS# 40093.
