- Lot 55 1803 C-3 R2 PCGS graded VF30.Frosty medium chocolate brown with lighter steel brown toning on the devices. The only marks are a light diagonal scratch hidden in the hair left of the neck and a pair of pinpricks over the C in CENT. A medium grade half cent that offers very nice eye appeal. LDS, Manley state 5.0, with swelling at the shoulder and the earlier die lines down from IBE quite faint. The die crack to the upper edge of the hair ribbon is now visible to the unaided eye. Struck with the reverse rotated 15 degrees CCW. Our grade is VF25.The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 11 finer for the variety.
