- Swirling luster and vivid crescent toning grace each side of this MS-65 1878 8TF Morgan dollar accurately identified as VAM-17. Deep blue toning transitions into maroon that covers ten percent of the obverse and about fifty percent of the reverse. The result is killer eye appeal on a coin that is already scarce in Gem grades. Morgan collectors take note because this lot deserves your attention (ls).
