Lot Description

1888 Morgan Silver Dollar. Proof-62 Cameo (PCGS). The date is clearly repunched to the left on the first three digits, to the right on the final digit. Delicate toning that spans gold, taupe and blue resides in the fields, while the devices are silver-gray and frosty. Minor hairlines and a couple of shallow nicks from handling, but reasonably good eye appeal for the collector. The first A of AMERICA has the left serif broken, giving this letter an unbalanced appearance.
