1818 Capped Bust Quarter. B-2. Rarity-1. AU-55 (NGC). Bright and nearly untoned over the obverse; the reverse exhibits reddish-apricot, pale gold and blue colors about part of the periphery. With bold definition, smooth looking surfaces and a somewhat satiny texture, this is a highly appealing Choice AU for this challenging early quarter type.
