1873 Liberty Head Double Eagle. Open 3. MS-61+ PL (NGC). A particularly appealing example of this popular type issue in the Liberty Head double eagle series, this otherwise satiny coin reveals considerable prooflike reflectivity in the fields as the surfaces dip into a light.
