1831 Capped Bust Half Dime. LM-5. Rarity-1. MS-64 (PCGS). OGH. Splendid satin luster over both sides, the surfaces further adorned with a light, even coating of soft argent-gray patina. Sharply struck throughout, with none but a few extremely trivial abrasions to the surfaces. A strong candidate for inclusion in a high grade type set that requires an example of the short lived Capped Bust half dime series. PCGS# 4278. NGC ID: 232D.
