Lot Description

1853-D Liberty Half Eagle. Winter 29-V. Large D. VF-35 (NGC). A khaki-gold example with even color and moderate, yet evenly distributed wear. Softness of strike at the borders is a common attribute for the issue, the centers retaining bolder definition, especially in the more protected areas of the design.
