THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION PART II Here is a wonderfully contrasted GEM late date Proof Seated half. The mirrored fields are deep and highly reflective, contrasting nicely against the well struck frosted devices. Essentially untoned, this coin has a wonderful silver brilliance on both sides. Minor lines can be found with effort, the eye appeal is quite nice. PCGS 13, NGC 16. Only 800 Proofs were struck. Do not let the Pops fool you, no PCGS-graded examples have sold in nearly five years, the last one selling for $2,585 in September 2015. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $3,750.
