Lot Description

This is a very pleasing and totally original example of this important KEY Buffalo nickel overdate. Lightly and evenly worn surfaces are devoid of any serious marks or ticks. A light pearly-dove patina is covers the surfaces on both sides. Accents of gold and powder blue add to the visual allure of this important collector grade 18/7-D. PCGS 37, NGC 26, CAC 13. We sold two recently, one for $6,875 in July 2018 and one for $7,425 in June 2018. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $8,500.
