Lot Description

1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 6.1-M, W-2820. Rarity-1. Mailed Bust Left, Laughing Head. AU-50 (PCGS). The deep golden-tan surfaces are mark-free to the naked eye and hold up well to magnified scrutiny, the only blemishes some inborn planchet microroughness here and there that was there when struck. The centering is perfect on both sides. Sharp details present as seen on many of the Laughing Head coppers, and a visually choice specimen across the board.
