Lot Description

Frosty and lustrous with faint blue-gold highlights. The faintest rub on Miss Liberty’s cheek can be detected upon careful examination; the coin is otherwise choice mint state. This seldom offered variety is distinguished by a diagonal line in the bottom loop of the 3 in the date. PCGS 8, NGC 0, CAC 2. Listed in the current PCGS Price Guide at $1,650. Only 3 auction records in this grade with the sole CAC example sold in August 2011 for $2,185.
