213.3 grains. An attractive piece, faded brassy-gold color remains in abundance in the protected areas around the design elements. Otherwise toned in warm gray-brown, the surfaces have a hard, tight, smooth texture that is largely free of even trivial blemishes. Close inspection with a loupe reveals only a few tiny, natural planchet pits, and a small carbon spot in the right obverse field is easily overlooked. Trivially off center to 9 o'clock on both sides, affecting only the border denticulation, this is a sharply defined and well composed Choice AU to represent the dated (a.k.a. Crowned Rose) type of Wood's Rosa Americana twopence.
