1872 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-101. MS-62 (PCGS). CAC. Decidedly scarce in the Mint State grades despite a very healthy mintage, this frosty, boldly lustrous example enjoys the same magenta, cobalt blue, teal, rose and gold tones that beautify so many of the high quality coins from the Dyer Collection. PCGS has seen just over 2 dozen Mint State survivors of this date, far less than are graded 62 for some other common dates in the series! We anticipate strong bidding activity on one of the prettiest circulation strikes from this old time holding.
