1825/4/2 Capped Bust Quarter. B-2. Rarity-2. AU-53 (PCGS). Warm pewter-gray patina throughout, both sides also exhibit tinges of light steel-olive and powder blue around the peripheries. This is a sharply struck, minimally circulated example of one of the more underrated design types in U.S. coinage history. Ideal for inclusion in a collection that requires a single example of the Large Diameter Capped Bust quarter, the overdate feature adds further appeal. PCGS# 38975. NGC ID: 23RS.
