Description du lot: EX. S.S. CENTRAL AMERICA Forget about being a Shipwreck piece, this is A SUPER and very choice coin. Add to the fact it was underwater for over 100 years and you'll realize how special this coin is. Only a few trivial ticks and marks can be seen – its light semi PL surfaces magnifies small imperfections. A layer of light toning covers the coin. There is a slight contrast. Miss Liberty and the details have thick frosting and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is fabulous! In 2014, only 3154 pieces were salvaged in total of all dates and coins. PCGS 3 with possibly only 4 higher. There is a current Collectors Universe Value of $44,000. That seems a bit low for this treasure ship piece.
