Lot Description

1856-O Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-103. Repunched 56. MS-66 (NGC). Fully brilliant with strong luster throughout and just the barest hint of peripheral patina on each side. The strike is well above average for a New Orleans coin, with no mentionable softness visible on either side. Repunched 6 low with a trace of an extra loop on the base of that digit. PCGS# 6288.
