Description du lot
What a mind blowing coin! First, it is housed not just in an Old Green Holder, it is in a pancake holder. How long has it been since you have seen one of those? Of course the coin is VERY HIGH END. For an MS63, the surfaces are seriously above average. They do appear quite smooth. We used a strong glass and could NOT find any problems of ANY size, ANY where. The luster is average for a coin like this. Both sides are evenly blanketed by a totally original mix of deep pewter/pale tangerine. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and stand out. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 8, NGC 6, CAC 1. It is critical to note: CAC has beaned NONE higher. PCGS has only graded 12 coins higher. WOW! There is no auction record for this coin ever selling. The current Collector's Universe Value of $2,000 was long surpassed by a NON CAC piece selling for $2,233 in December 2015. As you can see, this is a legit rare coin. If you're an MS Seated Half Collector, opportunity could not knock any louder! We think there will be heavy bidding on this piece, good luck and be prepared! Cert. Number 4018536 PCGS # 6332
