An impressive and high end GEM example of this popular variety. Gorgeous blue and rose toning accent the superlative surfaces and are highlighted by a bold underlying cartwheel luster. Sharply struck and very high end, this is an exceptional quality specimen that is sure to delight even the most jaded of collectors. Ex. Heritage, October 2011, lot 3700 (as PCGS MS65 CAC OGH). PCGS 17, NGC 59, CAC 7. PCGS has graded just four in MS65+ and three in MS66 finer. Eleven years ago, this coin realized $12,650. A PCGS MS66 sold in July 2022 for $22,200.
