1795 Flowing Hair Silver Dollar. BB-21, B-1. Rarity-2. Two Leaves. VF-25 (NGC). CAC. Handsome dove gray surfaces are warmly and evenly patinated, tinges of pale gold and pinkish-silver evident as the coin dips into a light. All major design elements are boldly defined, and the in hand appearance is exceptionally smooth for the assigned grade. BB-1 is the most readily obtainable die marriage of the Two Leaves Guide Bookvariety of the 1795 Flowing Hair, the issue as a whole immensely popular for type purposes given the rarity of the first year 1794 silver dollar.
