FROM THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION PART III What a gorgeous GEM! Icy watery mirrored fields are bold, brilliant, and highly reflective with a hint of pearly-white iridescent toning in the centers before deepening to a narrow band of rainbow toning at the rims. The devices are sharp and thickly frosted and stand out in stark, bold cameo contrast on both sides. The eye appeal is unaffected by some ancient minor lines in the reverse fields that blend in with the mint made die polish lines that swirl about. What a great coin! Only 950 Proofs were struck. PCGS 4, NGC 3. The most recent NGC-graded example sold in January 2014 for $8,225. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $11,500. This highly attractive GEM will bring strong bidding.
