- 1662 Massachusetts Bay Colony Oak Tree Twopence. Noe-34, W-240. Rarity-5. Small 2. VF-20 (PCGS).
9.9 grains. Ideally centered and well struck, with a full bold tree and intact legends. Light gray with some peripheral granularity, central reverse appears to have been lightly smoothed, some patches of green corrosion among reverse legends. A bold example of this smallest Massachusetts silver denomination, the only one bearing the 1662 date of authorization.
