Lot Description

Unquestionably original pale auburn toning is infused with gold.  Luster highlights the stars, legend and central devices.  Striking weakness is confined to the lowest drapery lines and clouds opposite.  Tim awarded the coin an “A” for eye appeal after acquiring it in March 2010.  No argument here.  This is a wonderful coin for the date, variety or type collector.   Estimate: $3,000 to $3,500
