Choice Mint State 1841 N-6 Ex Newman 1841 Braided Hair Cent. N-6. Rarity-1. MS-63+ BN (NGC). CAC. A deeply original example from the Eric P. Newman Collection painted in coffee, mahogany, and olive-gold colors throughout. The surfaces exude a uniformly satiny texture and remain largely free from abrasions. A trace of friction grazes the hair at Liberty's head but has long toned over, and a Mint-made planchet flaw is seen at 12 o'clock on the reverse rim. Lightly fatigued in Noyes Die State B/B.
