N-2. Not bad at all for a 176 year old coin! Overall, the surfaces are clean and smooth. There is a tiny planchet flake on the lower obverse that we think is what keeps this magnificent coin from MS65BN. There is a slight luster to the coin (typical for the date). Both sides are a choice original chocolate brown with very faint shades of red. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 8, NGC 5, CAC 4. PCGS has only graded 3 higher in Brown. The last PCGS CAC coin to sell in auction brought $2,703 in February 2017. This is a very scarce coin in choice condition. Hard to believe it costs LESS than $2,500! Cert. Number 26598173 PCGS # 1838
