Lot Description

1954-D/D/D Lincoln Cent. FS-501. Repunched Mintmark. MS-65 RD (PCGS). Fully struck and overall smooth, both sides are awash in fully intact medium orange luster. This impressive triple-punched mintmark variety normally reveals traces of the undermintmarks both above and below the primary D. On the present example, however, light metal flow has effaced the remnants of the first D. The second D, however, remains sharp both within and above the primary mintmark.
