Warm medium brown patina with faded mint red color here and there around the peripheries, most noticeable at left obverse and lower reverse. Strike detail is good with the overall design sharp despite the fact that the border lightly engages a few of the peripheral features. Hard and frosty, this smooth-looking Choice Mint State example would nicely represent an iconic colonial era issue in a high grade type set.
