An AMAZING superb GEM! Highly reflective fields are free of any hairlines or distracting toning. The portrait contrasts brilliantly against the watery obverse fields, giving it a near CAMEO appearance. The reverse is deeply patinated in a bluish-green toning over highly reflective fields. The devices are razor sharp and fully defined. Overall, a very eye appealing 1903 Proof quarter! PCGS 19, NGC 40, CAC 4. This is the SOLE PR67+ grade by PCGS, and only a single PR68 is graded numerically higher.. PCGS lists a value of $5,750 for 67+, and neither this, nor the PR68 have ever sold at auction!
