1887-S Liberty Seated Dime. MS-67 (NGC). Intense underlying luster supports a wealth of lively blue, rose and violet iridescence on both sides. The strike is bold and the eye appeal is substantial. The 1887-S is a plentiful Liberty Seated dime issue in an absolute sense, thanks in so small party to a generous mintage of 4,454,450 coins. In the finest Mint State grades, however, this issue is rare. You will not find a higher graded example than this MS-67 at PCGS or NGC, so bid accordingly. NGC Census: just 5; 0 finer. PCGS# 4699.
