FROM THE DAVID POOLE COLLECTION OF THREE CENT NICKELS. Tied for FINEST DCAM graded by PCGS and what a SUPERB GEM this coin is! Spectacular black and white contrast between sharply struck and beautifully frosted devices and the deep beaming mirrors of the surrounding fields. Even under the most intense scrutiny with a powerful glass, we declare the surfaces to be essentially without flaw! The eye appeal is beyond superb! Only 600 were struck. PCGS 14, NGC 5, CAC 16. There are five coins graded PR66+ DCAM at PCGS and NONE FINER. The most recent CAC-approved PR66+ DCAM sold in February 2017 for $5,405.
