1872 Two-Cent Piece. Proof-65+ RB (PCGS). Overall toned in pinkish and peach shades with accents of sapphire blue most vibrant on the reverse. Sharply defined with a subtle reflectivity in the fields. Just 950 Proofs were struck and survivors are seldom found in Gem condition or finer. Provenance: From the Naples Bay Collection.
