1896 Liberty Half Eagle. MS-65 (NGC). A frosty rose-gold specimen with bold cartwheel luster and excellent all-around eye appeal. The strike is bold throughout and any marks are relegated to the trivial category. Among the finest examples of the date extant in a NGC holder; indeed, the present coin is tied for finest of the date certified by NGC.
