1858/7 Flying Eagle Cent. Large Letters. Snow-1, FS-301 (FS-006). Snow Die Stage A. AU-50 (NGC). Dusky gray-brown and sandy-brown patina to both sides, the obverse also displaying a few small swirls of slightly variegated color that we mention solely for accuracy's sake. There are no worrisome abrasions, and overall definition is suitably bold despite some minor softness of strike toward the right borders. An appealing early die state of this popular and eagerly sought overdate from the early small Cent series.
