Tied for FINEST graded at PCGS, this magnificent SUPERB GEM has a fantastic, high end look and a technical quality to match! Sharply struck up from freshly polished dies, the obverse especially has a flashy, almost prooflike luster. A strong glass reveals a plethora of swirling die polish lines. The devices stand out with fully defined details and a thick frosted texture that gives the obverse an almost cameo-like contrast. The reverse, likewise is of outstanding quality, boldly struck and lustrous. Both sides are untoned and the eye appeal is exceptional. PCGS 23, NGC 24, CAC 12. The most recent example sold May 2022 for $34,800. The current CAC CPG value is $31,200.
