- Lot Description
- R-7+ 4-6 Minted. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. This piece was conserved many years ago when it was in an NGC holder. It was dark and cruddy. Now it is not! The mirrors actually do have some life. There are NO imperfections anywhere. A luscious mix of purple/violet/blue/copper colors all swirl together on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 1, NGC 0. There is a $4,000 Collectors Universe Value-even though this coin has never sold via auction or publicly. Mr. Simpson paid a lot for this coin ($8,225) based on the Judd book being $6,000 for a PR 65. We're more realistic! PCGS # 61113 Cert. Number 30934508 PCGS # 61113
