- 1787 New Jersey Copper. Maris 54-k, W-5295. Rarity-3. Serpent Head. EF-40 (PCGS). 127.2 grains. Medium brown and olive with hints of gold. Faintly granular and with the occasional pit here or there, but very sharp and especially well centered for the variety, with every letter of the legend nice and bold.
