1881 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-102. Type II Reverse. MS-63 (PCGS). Slightly mottled pewter-gray and rose-apricot iridescence to both sides, splashes of cobalt blue are also noted for the peripheries. The finish is satin to semi-reflective, the design elements generally sharp in striking detail. Popular with collectors, the circulation strike 1881 half dollar has a mintage of just 10,000 pieces.
