1866 Seated Liberty Half Dime. AU-58 (PCGS). CAC. A scarce key date that saw a mintage of just 10,000 pieces intended for general circulation. Lustrous steel gray with gold, orange, blue, and violet toning highlights, especially on the reverse. Boldly struck and ever so close to Mint State; indeed, a case could be made for that category.
