1851-O Silver Three-Cent Piece. MS-65 (NGC). Lustrous satin surfaces are attractively toned in pale gold and champagne-apricot iridescence. An uncommonly smooth and well preserved example of the only mintmarked issue in the silver three-cent series of 1851 to 1873. NGC Census: 48; 17 finer in this category (MS-67+ finest). PCGS# 3665.
