Lot Description: 1820 Matron Head Cent. N-13. Rarity-1. Large Date. MS-65 RB (PCGS). OGH. Here is a beautiful and conditionally scarce example of this perennially popular variety from the early Matron Head cent series. Frosty surfaces retain plenty of original rose-red color, which mingles nicely with handsome steel-brown iridescence. The strike is well centered with all border denticles bold, and most crisp. Central design elements are razor sharp, and the surfaces are smooth for the assigned grade.
