1858-O Liberty Head Eagle. AU-50 (PCGS). A boldly toned, medium gold example with predominantly bold striking detail and appreciable mint luster. Thanks in no small part to the Jackson Hoard discovered in Tennessee ca. 1985, which included a number of high grade examples, the 1858-O numbers among the more frequently encountered New Orleans Mint eagles of the No Motto design type.
