1893-O Barber Quarter. MS-65 (PCGS). This delightful example exhibits wisps of iridescent silver and gold to fully struck, satin-textured surfaces. The second New Orleans Mint issue in the Barber quarter series, the 1893-O has an above average survival rate in Mint State due to the fact that a fair number of examples were set aside at the time of delivery. Even so, it is far scarcer than the first year 1892-O, Gems such as this nothing short of rare. PCGS# 5605. NGC ID: 23XX. PCGS Population: 19; 17 finer (MS-67+ finest).
