1838 Capped Bust Half Dollar. Reeded Edge. HALF DOL. GR-2. Rarity-3. MS-63 (PCGS). Boldly struck on the obverse and reverse with sharp definition on Liberty's curls and the eagle. Clean surfaces too in terms of handling as examination finds little to note. Delicate peach-gold over lustrous fields and frost. Impressive quality and a scarce type coin.
