- 1857 Braided Hair Cent. N-1. Rarity-1. Grellman Die State a. Large Date. MS-64 RB (PCGS). A lustrous, sharply struck, and attractive example of the terminal date in the large cent denomination, the obverse soft rose-orange, the reverse lively mint orange. A tiny fleck behind Liberty's neck is the only visual distraction of any nature. All told, choice for the grade and worthy of more than just a casual glance. PCGS# 1929.
