Lot Description

This is certainly one of the most carefully preserved and visually appealing survivors from a mintage of 700 Proof quarters bearing the 1912 date, and it is a coin that is sure to please the discerning numismatist. Gently mottled toning in iridescent olive-gray, pinkish-apricot, antique gold and powder blue is bolder and more varied on the reverse.
