- Undated (1795) Washington Liberty and Security Penny. Baker-30E, W-11055. ASYLUM Edge, Corded Outer Rims. MS-63 BN (PCGS). 307.1 grains. Soft luster meets boldly rendered devices on the glossy surfaces of this deep golden-tan specimen. Some tiny marks come to light under low magnification, all of which elude the naked eye. One of just 10 grading <em>events </em>listed in all grades at PCGS for this scarce and elusive issue. The accompanying envelope notes "Gem; Finest Known per George Fuld;" at the time Ted Craige purchased the piece, the Fuld opinion was probably right on the money. An attractive high-grade (for the variety) specimen that will almost certainly be the source of strong bidding activity.
